Probably the most common fault is the dreaded Red Ring Of Death (RROD) This may consist of 1 red light 2 or 3 sometimes followed by an error code on screen like E74.

Now there are many propossed solutions from wrapping the console in a towel to heating it with a hairdryer, most either dont work or if they do the fix only lasts a very short time.

The main fix is what is known as the X-clamp fix. There are many Companies and individuals selling various kits and instruction manuals some good some bad however all claim that the repair is easy which if you get it right it is obviously, but if you get it wrong you can more often than not damage the console beyond repair. Here at repairadisc we offer you three options.
